Now available at our NJ Ford dealership, Quality Auto Mall, is the 2018 Ford Escape, an exceptionally versatile compact crossover SUV. Highlights include cutting-edge infotainment technology, numerous features and options, superb handling, and abundant cargo space. In a competitive segment, the 2018 Ford Escape shines brighter than the rest.

2018 Ford Escape

On the heels of last year’s comprehensive upgrade, the 2018 Ford Escape excels on multiple fronts. Under the hood, three engine choices await Ford shoppers in Rutherford and Clifton, including a 2.0L turbocharged 4C engine rated at 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive (AWD) is available, as is a hands-free power liftgate. A new high-end trim, the 2018 Ford Escape SEL, debuts.

In the cabin, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are available, and so is a superb voice-command interface and the latest SYNC® 3 interface. Along with this next-gen technology, all four trims levels are well-equipped with comfort and convenience features. Of the amenities, some of the most notable are leather upholstery, a nine-speaker sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Visit our Ford dealership at 55 Route 17 N in Rutherford, NJ and test drive the new 2018 Ford Escape.

The Toyota RAV4 is a spacious, capable SUV, but it hasn’t been substantially updated since 2013. This vehicle has a lot of cargo space, but smaller storage compartments are lacking compared to the 2018 Ford Escape. Our Jersey City, NJ Ford dealer appreciates the Toyota RAV4 model’s array of standard safety features, but amongst this SUV’s five-trim family, only one engine is available.

Toyota RAV4 & Honda CR-V

The Honda CR-V is another compact crossover SUV with generous passenger and cargo space, and it delivers a decent ride. However, only two engines are available, and the Honda CR-V model’s top-line engine doesn’t measure up to the 2018 Ford Escape model’s high-end engine, which produces 50 more horsepower and almost 100 more lb-ft of torque. The Honda CR-V offers a range of standard features, but most of the premium items are reserved for the top-leather trim.

In Conclusion

The Honda CR-V and the Toyota RAV4 are able competitors, but the 2018 Ford Escape surpasses them with its three powerful engine choices, excellent driving dynamics, and superior in-cabin technology. Visit our Ford dealership in Rutherford, NJ, test drive this leading compact crossover SUV, and capitalize on our great Ford deals near Jersey City, NJ.
